Academy Award Winner for Best Costume Design
One of our first big breaks as a design house was having our gowns featured in the film "The Artist". When we first brought our product line to costume designer Mark Bridges, it was a small foreign art film. As filming progressed, we realized that this film was going to be something spectacular.
"The Artist" went on to win Best Costume Design and Best Motion Picture at the Academy Awards in 2012. The "Screen Dance" is one of our favorite moments. It features our "Original Artist Gown" and the lovely Bérénice Bejo.

Since its debut on screen, The Artist Gown has remained a client favorite for its hand-beaded Deco rose design, deep V-neck, and long fringe. We've seen it styled countless ways, and it always stands out as a "new take" on the iconic fringe dresses of the 1920's.
In recent years, we've also expanded the line to include more color variations. Our favorite version is the Vintage Pink, which pairs beautifully with our Vintage Pink Harlow Wrap.

The Artist Gown remains one of our most meaningful designs. Whether worn on screen or at a dinner party, it continues to capture the spirit of The Deco Haus: cinematic, hand-beaded, and made to be remembered.
