returns & exchanges
What is your return policy?
We are pleased to accept returns for exchange or store credit on eligible pieces returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Due to the delicate nature of hand-finished eveningwear, garments must remain unworn and carefully handled.
Please contact the studio within 3 days of delivery to request a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions. Authorized returns must be shipped within 10 days of receiving the RA number. Packages received without authorization cannot be accepted.
Sale, archival, and final sale pieces are not eligible for return. Gloves, jewelry, slips, and select accessories are considered final sale.
As many Deco Haus pieces are selected for special occasions, editorials, and bridal moments, we are unable to offer refunds. Store credit or exchange is available for approved returns.
For sizing guidance prior to purchase, our studio is always happy to assist with measurements and fit recommendations.
International clients are responsible for any customs duties or import fees associated with delivery.
Are archival and sale pieces final sale?
Yes. Sale, archival, and select limited-production styles are considered final sale.
Do you offer exchanges?
Subject to availability, we are pleased to offer exchanges for alternate sizing or styles.
sizing & fit
How do Deco Haus gowns fit?
Many Deco Haus silhouettes are inspired by the fluid elegance of 1920s and 1930s evening dressing and are designed to drape softly along the body rather than fit with rigid structure.
Mesh gowns offer approximately two inches of natural stretch, allowing for flexibility in fit. Clients may size down for a more fitted silhouette or size up for a softer, more relaxed drape.
Individual product pages include detailed fit notes and measurements.
Can your studio assist with sizing?
Yes. Our studio is happy to provide sizing guidance and styling recommendations.
Are slips included?
Many gowns include a coordinating slip or underlayer. Details are provided within each individual product description.
Craftsmanship & Materials
Are your gowns hand-beaded?
Many Deco Haus designs feature intricate hand-applied beadwork, fringe detailing, and artisan finishing techniques.
Where are your collections designed?
The Deco Haus collections are designed in our studio in Los Angeles and produced in collaboration with specialized ateliers and artisan makers.
How should I care for my garment?
Many Deco Haus gowns are patterned after original antique evening garments, designed with separate beaded overlays and slips for ease of care and longevity.
Beaded overlays may be gently hand washed in cold water and laid flat to dry. Slips may be professional dry cleaned or carefully hand washed unless otherwise noted within the product description.
Due to the delicate nature of hand-beading and evening fabrics, garments should be stored thoughtfully away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. For long-term preservation, we recommend storing pieces flat in a garment box or wrapped in acid-free tissue paper.

Does The Deco Haus offer bridal styles?
Yes. Deco Haus gowns are frequently selected for destination weddings, intimate ceremonies, editorial bridal stories, and black-tie celebrations.
Are your collections limited production?
Many Deco Haus designs are produced in limited quantities due to the artisanal nature of the materials, embellishment, and finishing techniques.
