The Le Mystère Overlay is inspired by an extraordinary archival evening gown, recreated in sheer black evening mesh and meticulously hand-beaded with jet glass beads and sequins. True to the eveningwear traditions of the 1920s and 1930s, the piece is designed as a decorative overlay — a sheer, architectural layer worn over a slip to create depth, movement, and shadow.
Sheer, so a slip is recommended. Shown with a modified Marlene Cocktail Slip.

All of our mesh gowns are made by hand, so there will be some variation from piece to piece. We include individual measurements for each gown, but please refer to the above chart for general US sizing in inches.
The mesh gowns also have around 2 inches of extra stretch. For a classic, loose 1920's look....please size up. For a form-fitting look....please size down.
